When the heart can breathe freely again

This episode is about the healing power of forgiveness and the inner freedom that follows when we let go.
Unforgiven wounds, resentment, or bitterness bind energy and close the inner space where healing longs to flow.

Forgiveness does not mean forgetting or excusing.
It is a conscious decision to place what has happened into God’s hands – allowing peace to return.

Where forgiveness is given, inner tension dissolves.
The heart opens, the healing stream flows again, and new life begins to move within us.

welcome to let Jesus be your doctor, the true path to healing for body and soul. Today we will talk about forgiveness and liberation, about the power that allows the heart to breathe freely again, those who have been hurt, often unconsciously, carry burdens of bitterness or resentment. These feelings bind energy and block God's healing flow. Forgiveness is not forgetting. It is letting go into God's hands when we no longer need to be right, when we let go of others. Peace returns and with it, healing. In Bertha Dudde, we find the following on this subject. Forgiveness releases the attachment to imperfection. As long as you do not forgive, you keep the other person and yourselves captive. But as soon as you love and forgive, my light flows into you. In her message number 5428, we read, "Forgive one another as I forgive you." You humans still too often allow enmity to prevail. You are not yet able to give love to your enemies, and forgive them their guilt. You are still filled with anger toward them. You do not wish them well, even if you refrain from evil wishes. You do not exercise the necessary patience, and you fly into a rage when you are insulted, and therefore you are still far from living in the footsteps of Jesus. Love has not yet become so powerful within you, that it leaves no room for hostile thoughts. You do not see your neighbor as your brother, otherwise you would forgive him, and not take offense so seriously, and yet I am to forgive you your guilt. Even though you act just as hostile toward me, otherwise you would be without guilt. My love for you is immense, and my earnest request for forgiveness of your guilt will free you from your guilt, and yet I must set one condition, that you also forgive your debtors if you want to obtain my forgiveness. You shall love your neighbor as yourself. You shall not hold their sins against them. For every hostile thought is unsuitable for a rousing love in return. Whereas the love you show your enemy, also awakens feelings in him, that are to be considered positive. I forgive you your sins, as you forgive those who sin against you. So much for birth and dud. What do we learn from this? The light of God knows no anger. When we forgive those who have hurt us, the soul becomes free. The peace we give to others returns to us a hundredfold. Think well of your enemies. Forgive those who have offended you. Always let love judge within you, and it will surely want to forgive, for where there is love, hatred, and feelings of revenge cannot exist. Bruno Groening said on this subject, "When you forgive, you open yourself to the divine power. The bitterness recedes, and the healing stream can flow again. Forgiveness is therefore an inner decision, not a matter of emotion. Sometimes it simply means, no longer fighting against what has happened, but placing it in God's hands. Then the heart can breathe freely again. Forgiveness is the gateway to freedom. As long as we hold on to old hurts, we keep ourselves in the shadows. But God calls us into the light, not to erase the past, but to transform it. In the Bible, we read, "Be kind and compassionate to one another, forgiving each other. Just as God has forgiven you in Christ, Ephesians 4,7." This word reminds us that we forgive, not because the other person deserves it, but because we ourselves need to be set free. Derek Prince said, "That forgiveness is a decision of the will. When you forgive, you open the door for the Holy Spirit to work. As long as you refuse, the door remains closed and you keep yourself imprisoned. He teaches us that the first step toward inner healing is always forgiveness because God can only work in an open heart." Luisa Piccarreta also writes about the power of divine love. Those who live in the divine will learn to forgive as God forgives, without measure, without remembering evil. The soul that truly loves holds nothing back. It lets everything fall into the sea of divine mercy. So when we forgive in this way, we open our hearts to the divine light, then liberation happens quietly but deeply, and the soul breathes freely again. If you feel that there is still some discord in your heart, you can now take a small step toward forgiveness. Sit comfortably. Breathe calmly. Breathe deeply and evenly. Think of yourself first. Perhaps there is something you have not forgiven yourself for until today. A mistake. A failure. A word. Speak softly in your heart. I forgive myself. I let go. I am allowed to start anew. Feel compassion filling you, not as an excuse, but as healing. Now think of a person against whom you may harbor resentment or pain. You don't have to feel or do anything. Just speak. I forgive you. I leave you to God. I want to be free and I set you free. Breathe deeply. Let go of the heaviness, like leaves carried away by the wind. And now place the situation itself in God's hands. Say silently, Lord, bless me and bless those I have forgiven. This is how healing begins. Not with a feeling, but with a decision of the heart. And as you go out into the world today, remember that every forgiveness you give is a step closer to your own peace. For where there is forgiveness, the healing stream flows. And whenever you feel anger or bitterness stirring within you in your daily life, pause for a moment and say silently, Lord, I forgive and I am free. Breathe deeply. Feel your heart become lighter for in every act of forgiveness, new life flows, amen. You heard, let Jesus be your doctor, the true path to healing for body and soul.
