Welcome to let Jesus be your doctor, the true path to healing for body and soul.
Today we want to talk about the power that transforms everything, love.
Love is the divine fire in the heart. It is what heals, what redeems, what renews life,
where there is love, the power of God flows, and where it is lacking, everything becomes cold,
rigid and empty. The path to healing always leads through love for God, for people, and for oneself.
Bertha Dudde says that only love redeems, for it is the divine principle itself, where love reigns,
God is present, and every illness, every hardship loses its power.
In her message 2378 entitled only love redeems, we read the following, only love leads man to
higher planes, and only through love does a transformation take place in him, that is necessary to
rise from the depths to the heights, to the light. Nothing else can redeem him. Nothing else can
replace love, and nothing else but love can bring him closer to God, and even if man lives his life
on earth, in fulfillment of his duties, and in strict observance and fulfillment of the requirements
placed upon him. Nothing guarantees his progress except love alone, for love transforms the soul,
and makes it willing to open up and give freedom to the Spirit within, and the work of the Spirit
ensures the higher development of the soul. The maturing, without which a life in eternity is
inconceivable, he must be humble, gentle, peaceful, and patient from the heart, and all this is
brought about by love, for he puts God, and his fellow human beings, before his love for himself,
and will always think less of himself. He will demand nothing for himself, but will always give,
he will not judge, but understand and forgive, he will not seek conflict, and will suppress any
arrogance. He will be understanding of the weaknesses of his fellow human beings, and therefore practice
patience, and so his nature changes, and is shaped according to divine will, and God himself can dwell
in a soul thus formed. So much for Bertha Dutted, what do we learn from this? Love is not just a feeling,
it is creative power, when we love, God flows through us, and we become instruments of his light.
The path to healing always leads through love, to God, to other people, and to oneself.
Bruno Groening, the famous spiritual healer, said on this subject,
love is divine power, when a person loves, they are one with God, and then miracles happen.
Bruno Groening learned that healing can only happen, where a person opens themselves to love,
for love is the channel through which the healing stream flows, where we love God heals silently,
invisibly, deep within. In the Bible, we find this in first Corinthians,
13,4-8 , love is patient and kind, it does not seek its own, it is not easily provoked,
it keeps on loving, this love is not a feeling, but divine substance.
If you remain in it, you can no longer be separated from God, from yourself, from people.
Derek Prince said, love is the atmosphere of heaven, those who live in love,
draw heaven into their hearts, so when you meet someone with love today,
perhaps with a smile, or a silent prayer, then heaven opens up above both of you.
And in Luisa, Piccarreta, we find, that love is the flame that burns in my divine will,
those who live in this flame become light that heals. Love is divine energy,
it transforms pain into light, and even darkness must shine when you let it in.
And Thomas von Kempen says in his book, the imitation of Christ,
great as he who loves much, naughty who knows much, sometimes the greatest knowledge
is simply to love. When you love, you are already in the heart of God.
Let us meditate on this for a moment, close your eyes, breathe calmly and evenly.
Feel your heart. Imagine a soft light beginning to shine in your chest.
Warm golden alive.
It is the divine love that dwells within you.
Say softly, Lord, open my heart to your love. Let it flow through me.
Feel this light expanding into your thoughts, into your hands,
out into the world. Today you may practice love, not as a feeling, but as a simple
attitude of the heart. Think of a person, to whom you would like to give love today.
Perhaps someone who needs you. Perhaps someone you find difficult to forgive.
Imagine God's light filling you. And then say quietly, Lord, I ask you to bless them through me.
Let love flow from your heart, quietly, without words, without expectation, and then feel that.
This light also remains within you. It heals you as you give. Stay in this silence of love for a moment.
Look consciously into the eyes of every person today. With love,
a brief moment of genuine compassion can heal more than a thousand words.
May the divine fire of love burn in your heart, quiet, clear, healing.
May this love fill you and radiate out to all you meet today.
For where there is love, there flows the stream of healing. Amen.
You heard, let Jesus be your physician, the true way to healing for body and soul.
In the next program, healing through forgiveness and compassion, the heart as a source of grace.
