Forgiveness does not mean approving what was wrong.
It means releasing judgment and opening the heart to grace.

Welcome to let Jesus be your doctor.
The true path to healing for body and soul.
Today we will talk about healing through forgiveness and compassion.
Sometimes we carry in our hearts not only the pain of what others have done to us,
but also guilt over what we ourselves have failed to do.
But God does not condemn.
He invites us to open our hearts.
A to compassion, a to forgiveness and a mercy.
For in love that forgives everything is healed.
Bertha Dudde writes in message 5428.
You shall love your neighbor as yourself.
You shall not hold his sins against him.
For every hostile thought blocks love.
But the love you show your enemy can awaken something good in him.
Every unkind thought is picked up by evil forces.
And it cannot have a good effect.
But good thoughts have a redeeming power.
They drive away resentment and hatred.
That is why you will only find forgiveness with me.
If you also forgive your debtors.
So far Bertha Dudde, what do we learn from this?
Forgiveness is not just the absence of hatred.
It's not enough to say, well, I don't wish them anything bad.
True forgiveness means allowing only loving thoughts
and even praying for those who hurt you.
Only then does God's healing stream flow freely again,
because love is stronger than any wound.
Bruno Gröning said,
"The one who has compassion is close to God.
For in loving others, he becomes an instrument of the divine.
Compassion heals because it removes separation."
The Bible says in Ephesians 4, 32,
"Be kind and compassionate to one another, forgiving each other,
just as God forgave you in Christ."
Forgiveness is like unblocking a river.
Judgment stops the flow.
Grace restores it.
Derek Prince taught,
"Forgiveness is the bridge over which the healing stream of God flows."
He said that many illnesses, physical or emotional,
have their root in unresolved pain.
When we forgive,
we release the pain into God's hands,
and he transforms bitterness into peace.
Forgiveness is not a feeling.
It is a step of obedience,
and that's where healing happens.
Luisa Piccarreta wrote:
It's in the divine wills.
The heart of Christ forgives and loves without ceasing.
When the soul forgives,
Jesus himself acts within it.
And his light spreads to many.
A heart that forgives becomes a vessel of divine mercy.
And this mercy heals others.
And heals you too.
Thomas von Kempen reminds us,
"If you do not learn to forgive,
you will never find in a peace.
Quiet patience with the faults of others.
Is a school of love."
He calls humble gentleness the medicine of the soul.
Let us turn inward now.
Close your eyes.
Breathe in deeply.
And slowly out.
Feel your heart.
Wear pain and love meat.
Imagine a gentle light within your chest.
It is warm.
Loving.
The pure.
Say softly in your heart,
I forgive and I bless.
I open my heart to compassion.
Let the light grow.
Let it touch those who have hurt you.
You are free and so are they.
Gratitude opens the heart like a flower in the sun.
Think of three things you are grateful for today.
Even small things.
The kind word.
A deep breath.
A moment of peace.
Say softly.
Thank you, Lord, for this life.
Even for what I do not yet understand.
Let peace grow in you.
Let divine love flow freely.
Thank you, Lord, for this life.
